Clinical Nutritionist Team on the occasion of   World Hepatitis Day   (28 th July ). to spread the awareness about different types of Hepatitis and what measures can be taken to make liver strong. A educational workshop was organized  This year 2022, theme for World Hepatitis Day was:   “ BRINGING HEPATITIS CARE CLOSER TO YOU  ”  More than 100 participants visited which included nurses, patients, patient's relative, visitors, doctors, etc  Workshop  organized in OPD area of  Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital.   Main attractions:   Different infographics of superfoods ( oats, soya chunks, flax seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, curd ) with product were on display.  Along with some microgreens infographics and plants such as Fenugreek, Black Chana, Green Moong, Lemon, Sesame seeds, Mustard seeds . A placard was also displayed which signified about the precautionary measures for various types of hepatitis....

Since  two decade, number of cancer patient are increasing,  that is giving world's nutritionist  a  big  concern. T oday  availability of  lots of therapies are for them, still patients are not recovering, are malnourished and there is big gap between what is to be eaten and what are they able to eat which  is making them more malnourished. With growing awareness  to fill the nutritional gap, our attention  was drawn  towards  understanding nutritional  pattern of the onco patients.
