Overview: Post Covid Nutrition live workshop (academic and non academic school staff )
Diet consultation live workshop was conducted at one of the renowned school with motive to see the overall health of working staff and even to know actual nutritional status of academic and non academic staff working in the school.
PURPOSE OF WORKSHOP: is to assess nutritionally, check awareness, to fill the gap if existing and guiding about overall health Education.
METHODOLOGY: Sample consisting of 90 Participants(Teaching and Non-Teaching staff) were collected through Google forms which comprised of General Information, gender, medical diagnosis (current/History), height, weight, BMI was interpreted through their test which was conducted during the camp. (BMI, BP, BMD, RBS)and via Personal Interview data was collected.
NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION TOOLS USED: Digital flyers were used to educate the participants. One to One Counseling was given to the participants in terms of their test conducted and also their doubts were taken into consideration for counseling.
ANALYSIS: Data Analysis was
interpreted to find out what is deficient in daily dietary intake, patterns and
according to that counseling with importance of follow up.
Out of total participant 52% male and female had low Bone density
62.3%
were falling under OTHER Category like – LOW CALCIUM AND LOW HB of which 13.1%
were THYRIOD Patients, 16.4%
were DIABETIC and 1.6% is Renal
Patients.
CRITICAL ANALYSIS: Urgent Dietary Intervention and Lifestyle Modifications is required. Overview on nutritional status of Academic and non academic staff shows ,most interestingly ,In this Workshop not a single person were Disease Free- Which was Shocking. We tried to find out the reasons in that One of the Factor was The Time Management- Through Interview we found that lots of workload plus Early Lunch were the reasons. And lot of tea consumption was found out. Post Covid Weight Gain was observed as one of the factor. today’s lifestyle and due to working from home. is one of the additional Work Atmosphere plays an important role in any Organization. Employees those are given more Facilities seems to Perform Well and also have Good Nutritional Status.in this workshop work atmosphere was really good work place at Google is a great example. Like “Laszlo Bock” quotes in his book “WORK RULES”- Innovating, Experimenting and keep Things Fun that creates a great environment which is Self re-enforcing one, all those efforts support one another and together creates an Organization that is Creative, Fun, Hardworking and Highly Productive.
