In olden days our great grandfather, grandfather, our parents used to eat pure (desi) ghee and their health was really good, NEVER HEARD about any major disease .Even their bones were very strong with eating right kind of foods. Hardly heard about cancer, fracture, major illness like Diabetes mellitus,blood pressure, women's menstrual issue.

 Functions of Fat : As source, of energy and it protects the skeleton, nerves. Fat also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs.  Not all fats are good: Saturated and trans fats can raise cholesterol levels and increase disease risk.

 The body stores fat for protection, warmth, and energy. 

Fats are an important part of the diet for humans. Depending on attributes, Fats are classified as :

Fats or Fatty Acids

Lipids

Animal Fats

Vegetable Fats

Are solid at room temperature

 

This can refer to any type, regardless whether is liquid or solid

Includes butter, cream, and fats in meats, such as lard

Fats in olives and avocados, as well as olive, peanut, flaxseed, and corn oils

Sharing a women’s health issue ("Chocolate cyst") mostly majority of women faces at certain age also known as Endometriosis, it is a disorder wherein outside the uterus, the tissue thickens and bleeds, just as typical endometrial tissue does during menstrual cycles, causing pain and triggering symptoms such as pelvic pain, painful periods, pain during intercourse, bowel movements and urination.

To stop progression of endometriosis, one has to avoid processed foods and fast foods which  has the highest amount of trans fat.





To manage endometriosis better, limit alcohol, caffeine, cola, red meat, foods known for unhealthy fats and sugary foods. 

High-Fat Foods that offer great health benefits are Avocados .

Dark chocolate is a nutritious food disguised as a tasty treat. 

Whole eggs, fatty fish, nuts, chia seeds, extra virgin olive oil are good sources but you need to consult a clinical medical nutrition therapist.
